Trip to West End of the Park

I visited the West End of the Park, which is reached by traveling down a long dirt road that was and still is used for mining!  Mode of transportation was ATV, although we did see some crazy people in vehicles.  The road is rough and pretty long.  At the end we hiked out to a ridge to look for bear but we didn't see any...

There isn't a sign in the state without a bullet hole in it...

Hiking with mountains in the background

There is a glacier in the middle of the picture, but it is covered by dirt so you can't tell.

  1. Sooooo...does that mean, if you were at the boundary of the State Park that you were in the National Park? And can you get me a stamp? haha. I really do want the answer to the first question when you get a free moment from working so hard hiking! ;-) I Love YOU and miss you BUT still wish you all the more wonder filled with Alaskan beauty! You are one lucky(s) little girl <3
